ASTROLOGY NEWSLETTER DECEMBER 1-15, 2022
It’s the end of the calendar year and the ending of three planetary cycles.
You might feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. If you feel you’re not finished with one chapter don’t be overwhelmed with the promise (or threat) of another chapter.
The most powerful planet, Pluto is getting ready to move into Aquarius on March 23, 2023.
For some time now, there has been a dwindling of established traditions that have been around too long. The bastions of culture that presided over centuries gets knocked off their pedestal as power moves into a New Age.
Institutions and services change. The demand for a different kind of economy and collective experience is almost here. What you took for granted from a full perspective will be gone. Apps, abbreviations and devices are going to reign supreme over more formal language and communication. Everybody’s jumping to a different drummer in how they talk and what they’re walking.
In the next twenty years, money and resources get reassigned. Animal and human life takes on a different value. During the next year our viewpoint of life gets turned back around to a time from before.
Historically Pluto in Aquarius preceded The American war of independence (1778). Pluto was transiting Aquarius during The French Revolution in 1789-99.
The time when Pluto was in Aquarius during 1532-1552 saw the Reformation in England break away from Rome’s authority.
Pluto in Aquarius consistently rebelled against any hierarchical system that was empowered. The experiment with different relationships to power moved in new ways through cultures, countries and belief systems when Pluto entered Aquarius.
We’re in the twilight of power. How power is accorded in your individual life is up for grabs.
How you deal with power reveals itself when it’s not working. Where you give away your power is the main issue now. The next period focuses on taking power back and using it in a more awakened manner.
This period could bring unexpected endings, separations, windfalls and inheritances or unanticipated loss with the resources you’ve depended on. It’s the old game of musical chairs with what you’ve depended on changing chairs. If there’s no place to sit in the circle, you might need to create another circle.
The Full Moon on Wednesday 12/7 at 8:08 PM pst involves a conjunction of Mars square Neptune. If you don’t know what you’re doing or are suffering from a kind of emotional dizziness or vertigo, take everything down a few notches. An extended period of confusion and uncompleted actions bedevils most since the second week of October, repeated itself during the third week of November and comes to fruition around mid -March. This Full Moon focuses on what’s out of focus and misperceived. Where you’re not in reality comes closer to being seen with more clarity from the Full Moon on December 7 through January.
If you’ve been involved with something iffy or unclear like a business deal or a romance this Full Moon and the five days before and after December 7 bring to a head where you’ve been misled or are misleading someone. Whether you’re innocent or not, any confusion you’ve been living with takes an emotional toll. You might be incredibly tired, have no energy and feel like you’ve lost your center. You might be forgetful and dissociating, you might feel lost in space. The Full Moon expresses this experience with one sweep of a news story or an individual experience that disappears love and romance and expectation into nothing. Someone or something could up and leave. Or you could try to escape the confused feelings with substance, sugar, or a film.
Use your best creative energy to express yourself now. You might write an award- winning show or be inspired to eat, love and pray.
Watch the Bruce Springsteen interview on Netflix with Howard Stern for how reality and dream can combine and inspire.
Like so many things that are about to unlock, watch what you’ve assumed about someone, something or some expectation disappear. Neptune is the great deceiver expressing illusion better than a carnie or soothsayer. Where you’ve stepped out of reality is exposed during the Full Moon.
Observe what you’re thinking or deciding from December 11-14. Mercury goes retrograde later this month on December 29. What you’re thinking or researching comes back again on January 17-19, 2023.
We’re getting ready for the end of the calendar year. Aggressive action and war might flirt with a slowdown. Let’s hope it doesn’t ratchet up when Jupiter enters Aries after December 20.
Be the calm in a storm that circulates silently. This period is deceptive and not what it seems. Hark the Herald Angels Sing, look for how many angels sit on the edge of a pin and that inhabit your dreams. Watch your inner vision. Don’ t cha know, we’re on the eve of a midnight ride into the Unknown.
